In 2010, Wild Florida set out to preserve one of the few pieces of private property on Lake Cypress in the Headwaters of the Florida Everglades. With an eye on polishing one of the jewels that is a throwback to what Florida used to be like, Wild Florida gives Orlando visitors and local residents a glimpse of what it’s like to explore the wild side of Florida.
In our Gator Park, we have over 200 animals on display, including exotic animals like zebras, sloths, lemurs, and Watusi, just to name a few. We have a walk-in bird aviary with pheasants, parrots, and other birds from all over the world. Our animal keepers are very knowledgeable about the habits and history of the animals in our Gator Park. You can even fulfill your lifelong dream by working as an animal keeper for a day. It’s only one of the many interactive programs we have with our animals.

Our Drive-thru Safari travels down four miles of dirt terrain, so you can see native and exotic animals, typically only seen on TV. The fun doesn’t stop after your excursion! Just outside the Drive-thru Safari trail, get face to face with our giraffe family members and feed them!
