Visit Red Rocks Amphitheater. Once you visit Red Rocks Amphitheater, you will not be able to fathom attending an event at a different outdoor venue. This natural wonder took 200 million years to form, and it has been transformed into an amazing site. The majesty of the surroundings will leave you awe-inspired. Originally known as the "Garden of the Angels,"
Tasty Lunch Picnic at Echo Lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Echo Lake, which is located in Echo Lake Nature Park. The 24 acres of wilderness holds a lake that was formed by a glacier moraine. Picnic tables line the northern shore and provide a peaceful backdrop for your meal. After you're done eating, grab your camera and take the most picturesque snapshot of Mt. Blue Sky, which will be reflected in the water.
Summit of Mount Blue Sky. Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mount Evans) is one of the state's Front Range Fourteeners. Here, you will be greeted by creatures like mountain goats and bighorn sheep. At the top, you will have an unforgettable view of the Rocky Mountains. Since this summit is so high, you will be advised to drink plenty of liquids and to pay attention to the ever-changing weather. In case the summit is not accessible due to weather conditions, constrictions, and other road closures we will drive to the highest point possible.
Drive Through Downtown Idaho Springs. This area is most famously known as "Gold Rush Town." It was founded in 1857 by gold-mining prospectors. Although few people still come searching for gold, the town remains rich with mining history.
