Michael Gulden started Active Oahu in 2013 as a way to share some of the best scenery and adventures on Oahu in a more convenient and family friendly way. Active Oahu escapes the mainstream and helps get you off the beaten path and out on an adventure. We make the tours authentic and more personalized as well as cater to easy and flexible delivery and pickup of beach gear and equipment.
If you take our tours, you’ll get a “local-style” tour experience with authentic and friendly guides. In order to keep things fresh, the guides are less scripted and more themselves. We also keep our tour groups small and private. We try not to combine groups so you can have a more exclusive experience and really immerse yourself in the beauty of Oahu.
We help make your Oahu adventures a breeze, so in order to help those adventurous souls who don’t want/need a guide, we deliver rental equipment. Less wait and more time for fun. Our most popular item is our kayak rentals, but we also rent out other beach equipment. This is especially nice for those staying at vacation rentals who are on a perfect beach and want to save time and get convenient delivery to their doorstep. We make the deliveries straight to your address and with multiple day rentals, you can enjoy the convenience of having beach equipment longer. We also deliver to beaches, but plan in advance, we get booked pretty quick.
